1. Look for a building that faces a wide road. It is best if you have a big open space such as a field, or car park directly in front of the main entrance to your store.
2. Take a look around the frontage of your shop, standing at the main entrance. Watch out for lamp posts, trees, or edges of buildings, sharp roof lines as these can create poison arrows that will affect the business potential of your shop.
3. Do not rent or buy a shop that is located at the end of a corridor or road as this is the cul de sac formation and brings bad chi.
4. Do not rent or buy a shop that is sandwiched between two larger shops or by higher buildings.
5. Do not rent or buy a store that is located at the apex of a T junction, this being seriously bad chi directly towards your shop. Avoid a downward slope directly in front of your shop as this brings destructive chi into your shop.
6. Never rent or buy a shop that is located near a cemetery, hospital, police station or abandoned / dilapidated buildings as these can create stagnant chi.
7. Do not rent a shop in a mall that does not have a grand entrance, as this limits business bringing chi entering the mall.
