Bird Brings Luck for Latest Harry Potter Book - Harry Potter Phoenix a Self Fulfilling Prophecy

JK Rowling's eagerly-awaited book, "Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix", has catapulted into the stratosphere in opening week sales. Since its worldwide release on 23rd June, it has already sold 1,777,000 copies.

Avid fans of the boy wizard have been waiting for this title since the fourth book, Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire, was released in 2000.

In feng shui, the "phoenix" represents one of the four celestial animals.The mythical bird symbolizes a rich harvest , and is regarded as a very yang creature that brings recognition, a good reputation, wonderful opportunity luck as well as fame and celebrity luck. The phoenix is also regarded as the "king of all feathered creatures of the universe", and also symbolizes a leader sitting on a throne.

Thus, whether she knew it or not, the magnificent firebird on the cover of "The Order of the Phoenix" acted as a catalyst propelling the fame and thus the sales of the book to great success!
