Hi everyone

My personal kua according to 8 mansions is 6. So favourable directions are W, NW, SW, NE.

However, my 4p favourable elements are wood and fire, so favourable directions are E, S, SE.

Anybody has advice on which of these conflicting directions to follow?

These 2 systems belongs to different approach. One base 0n the 24 jieqi and the other based on xien/ hou tian bagua.

If you forcefully combine them or choose the best out of these 2 systems, you can locate / direct important area at Hai/Xu( NW), Geng(W), Wei(SW) and Yin(NE).

BUt how effective it is .... you let me know, ok

Pick one and follow it. See how it works for you for 6 to 8 months. If it is not comfortable, change your method.

4 pillars is your destiny, so your favorable element is important to ascertain your luck cycle. This is more refine than using the Kua no. But remember SE1 is Chen - Earth. IMO, I prefer using the 4 pillars favorable elements.
