I have total feng shui book of Lillian,edition 2004, my birth element is marked Earth, Ox. But on the Ox horoscope I followed the age group and found that I am a metal Ox. on about feng shui site my birth element is metal. could it be a mistake in the book? I was born in June 8, 1961. my friend was born in March 29. 1968 and the website tells a different element than lillian's book

When you look at the Hsia or ten thousand years calendar the description of the element is based on the 10 Heavenly stem and 12 Earthly Branches. Since you are born in 1961, the Heavenly Stem element is Metal and the Earthly Branch is Ox and also an Earth element. In full we address it as Metal Ox Earth year.

When you go more in-depth in the future, you will understand that yours Day Master or Self Element will be Ren Yang Water born in the Metal Ox Earth year.

As for your friend will be Day Master or Self Element Wu Yang Earth born in the Earth Monkey Metal year.

so myself element is Ren Yang Water born in the Metal Ox Earth, but how is that translated? Do I do better around metal for e.g? How do I translate that? Which one is main factor? sorry but I don't know much about it. I saw my chart but I coudn't understand it. If you elaborate I'll be thankful.
