My gal friend bought the LilianToo's horoscope book, bought necessary remedial cures for this year, but this year still a bad year so far.. she asks me to check here, hope for advice

Before using any cures, it is always best to try and remove the problem if possible.
An example is if you are not sleeping well. Before placing cures in the bedroom, it is better
to re energize and refresh the space first, make sure you are sleeping in your best direction, etc.
After this is done and things do not improve, then use cures.
Using cures before correcting can cause more problems. But you and your girlfriend are doing
things correctly by doing some reading and studing first.

As Lady moon mention, prevention is better then cure, cure can be used at last resort.
You also need to check the main door, kitchen and Bedroom, is on the right place based on XKFS / 8 mansion or other method.
(3 important space )
Check some post around here, it will help enlarge your Feng shui knowledge.

XKFS = Xuan Kong Flying Star is a method to study of star combination ,
other usage like date selection, external factor and so on.(can be used or internal / external )
8 mansion is another method, Lilian too have the book as well.
For starter u can read some of her book or other u familiar with.

*Im new in Fs as well, take your time, study carefully before apply any cure/enhancer.*

There are many reasons why cures won't change anything:

1. Inaccurate reading of the facing direction
2. Not placing cures in exactly the right spot (some practitioners narrow it down to 1 degree on the compass)
3. Not placing the cures on an auspicious date
4. Misunderstanding what cure, if any, is needed
5. A feng shui situation that cannot be cured

I know that you get the impression for books that the correct item placed somewhere will turn your life around, but it simply isn't true most of the time.

When i finish few FS book, i tot i get it and it seems so easy. After i read more and more.... i feel like i know nothing at all.
The feeling i get is... FS is reallllly.... deeeeeeeeep. Haha.
