I am born on 9th December 1976 at 2.23am in West Malaysia, single, live in Singapore.

For the passed 5 years, I made an income of approx S$90K- S$100K per annum. However, today I have literally no savings, I don't even have a house or a car. For the passed 5 years, I have tried to find ways to make more money thru investing in shares and funds but 9 out of 10 times I loss money....luck is always not on my side. (Note: I do have good knowledge of the financial market, I went thru many seminars, advanced course)

I am going to be 35 years old soon and I felt very lost right now!

Anyone can help to see what is wrong with my BAZI? Why am I in such a lousy luck?

Hi Xkfan,

It is not so much of my spending habit because I do spend in moderation.

The problem is that whenever I tried to find other ways to make more money, I will end up losing even more.

I don't seems to be able to accumulate it. Based on my Four Pillars calculation, it seem that I am lack of Metal. Does wearing metal items like gold/silver chain or bracelet helps?

You are blessed and you have been given "wealth." You must remember that FS is only 1 part of our lives - the other parts and our decisions determine the rest.
The issue now is to hold on to what you have been given. Stop looking for ways to invest as you are getting very bad advice from people who make much money from your bad investments.
First - what is "spending moderately"? This is too vague to measure. You need a better plan on how to handle the money you have. You must change what you are doing 1) because it is not working for you, and 2) you will never have anything if you do not change now.
Here is how others accumulate money - save it. Forget investing as the markets are bad & things are loosing value. Never invest money if you cannot afford to lose it - investments have no guarentees. Forget about buying anything as an "investment" - things are only worth what someone will pay. That painting or art work will take years to increase in value - don't buy it. The seller just wants your cash.
1) Pay your self first. Have a savings account and put 10% of your take home pay here.
2) Have an emergency fund; 20% of you take home pay here. This is for a crisis - not a purchase. Keep putting money in this account until you have saved living expenses for 1 year. Do not spend any of this. A "living fund" - this is all the money you would need to live for a year if you lost your job. Put money here each payday.
4) Record everything you spend. For 2 months, keep a written record of every penny you spend. You will be surprised to see how much money you waste on things that are not necessary & impluse purchases. (buying dinner out is not a need - it is a want; separate the wants for what is needed & you will see why you have no savings).
5) Keep a monthly record of you bills. Some bills - phone, heat, light, are always there. Put money aside each month to pay for car repairs, new tires, clothes, etc. Don't spend this until it is necessary. Then you have the cash to pay the bills & there will be no interest on credit cards.
Try this for 1 year. See if life has improved. If not, go back to your old ways. If you do this, you will find out who your true friends are because you will not longer be treating everyone to dinners out or being a free spender.
Good luck. I know change is hard, but we all must change to reach new goals.

Think this is good to try. What I do now is not working & have a lot of bills. I do
notice that friends do not treat me but take when I offer to pay. This is much to think about.

Hi,

First I'd like to agree with the others that there are three things and I use them loosely - destiny, environment, and choice.

I think though, what you are looking for was an opinion from a Bazi standpoint (destiny) and not from an environmental (feng shui) or choice (your own spending/investing habits). So I'll try to answer it briefly here for you. Please of course, see this as entertainment purposes only and know that you have the power to change things. I am not a Bazi expert. This is what I can gander at a quick glance. I didn't go too deep.

Your "day master" element is yin wood. A rather weak yin wood. Please don't misunderstand that term. There is nothing wrong with weak. Your chart just has very little wood in it. You have supportive and well to do parents/grandparents/seniors (well on one side) but your chart lacks a lot of "obvious wood energies". You do have hidden ones. So when a person's element is weak that person tends to look for things that make you stronger like more wood or water. So they'd be working in these industries or be friends with these type of people. Although earth is considered wealth for you, too much earth tires you out as it takes up a lot of wood energy to "destroy" earth. In other words, you work hard for your money.

Just looking at the Bazi, you have sheep in your day pillar and ox in your hour pillar. Given that there is an adversary relationship between the two, it can be suggested that your current and future financial situation will fluctuate. The day pillar generally governs you/your spouse or your 20s to early 40s and hours your children or your later years. There's also another fluctuating relationship between the dragon and the ox.

Knowing this, we can go to your 10 luck pillars and start looking for the trouble years. Well, let's just focus on this ten year pillar. You have the yin wood heavenly stem which is extremely supportive for you so at least the heaven luck helps you out from 29-34. How so? You had people help you out! So when the market turned, you had help. I would be grateful for that. In 2006, we had the fire dog, a little fluctuation there. In 2007, we had the fire pig, a little fluctuation in the first half of the year for you. In 2008, earth rat. Should be good for you. In 2009, that's where all your main fluctuations in income occurs, in the earth ox. Of course, we could look at the market and see it was bad anyway. Was this a coincidence? Who knows?

At 35, the sheep branch has more effect. Let's see what the sheep is composed of. It has yin earth, yin wood, and yin fire. The yin earth and yin wood is good for you. Yin fire...just a little troublesome. Yin earth is a side income from a business/investments or money given to you. Looks like someone is supporting you. Yin wood is like friends. Yin fire is like 7 killers star for you. It is not always a negative term. Don't let the name misguide you. In our case though, it can indicate "metal" related injuries. So considering that money is "metal", is it not better to lose money than one's health? If destiny had it in store that you would have a "metal related issue" money problems are probably the best to have. The "7" means energy from the 4 directions, heaven, from below, and the last direction, yourself. There's the 7 killers. My favorite is the last arrow/direction, "yourself". What this indicates is that you have a hand in your own problems and not just the environment (market). So yes, there is something about the way you invest or spend that contributes to this issue.

Now let's look at current and future years. Metal Rabbit, ok. Water dragon. The water's good but fluctuations again because Grand Duke Jupiter issues with the dragon year, so eh... Well, I don't like predicting the future...because I believe the future is what you make it to be. =)

So I hope this answers your lousy luck issue. Not really lousy at all. You lost money instead of health and learned who the valuable people in your life were because they were there to help you out when you needed it. Luck has been on your side. =) I encourage you to do charity work. For one, it's very rewarding. Second, maybe some good karma can offset some of the negatives for you.

I'm just a passerby. I love Chinese metaphysics. Do you ever wonder how these formulas and relations were derived? Who made them and how? And, how good is the interpreter? Basically enjoy life and use your own best judgement. Maybe you were meant to learn from these financial mistakes so that you could better prepare yourself for what will be. =)

Hi rbnluu,

Thanks for your analysis and honestly, it is quite accurate.

BTW when I look at my Four Pillars, I realise that I do not have any Metal element on my chart. Do you think I should introduce metal element to my life so to balance the off the five elements? I am a noob....

Yin metal is his 7k, not yin fire. Yin fire his his output star.

Ah yes, you are right. Thank you. I made a mistake. Well, it's nice to know that she'll be okay and not starve.

As for wearing metal..... now that it's been established as your 7K, you decide. =)
