Yin Metals don't normally achieve success on their own without help and support. Your ideas need to be carried out and brought to fruition by others. Your dreams come true only when you have the right kind of support. If you are in the creative fields you need a patron. If you are in business, you need investors and customers. If you don't work on the people-to-people relationship skills, you will lose out on a lot of opportunities.
Others are often afraid to approach you because you seem intimidating or aloof. But they find that to be the opposite when they actually get to know you! Don't see others, especially colleagues, as stepping stones to getting what you want. If you love Coke and someone you despise at work love Pepsi, there is really no need to engage in a 2-hour debate that leaves you, and everyone else, exhausted. Sometimes, you just need to let it go. You might THINK that everyone's laughing with you, but a few of them might also be tapping in reminders into their Blackberries to never call you again! Be tactful, discreet, and diplomatic when the situation calls for it. Hang out with old people. Your grandma has a ton of cool stories from the past. Listen to her, and curb the urge to lecture, correct, or weasel out information for her to use for your next book/movie/documentary. Or simply spend time with someone else for the sole purpose of making them happy!
