Thank you for your help and please don't lose faith in love. You and I must stick together in our faith that it is possible.

This man is not my husband and we have a long distance relationship so already there is a challenge. He was deeply hurt with loss in love before we met. It is difficult for him to believe in love again. I try to reassure but he becomes afraid of commitment and wants to pull away. For fear of hurt possibly?

There is something else too. He has many demands in intimacy. A proposal has been made which I can explain privately. I believe it might be the tests you mention.
