Hi there Feng Shui community My name is Roxy and I am currently trying to remedy my home. I am specifically focusing on my bedroom right now. I have been quite ill over the past couple of years with different sicknesses and ailments (everything from stomach and digestive issues, to skin, hormonal issues, sinuses, and not to mention STRESS, anxiety and depression).

Although the Spring weather here in Toronto, Ontario, Canada has brightened my spirit a little bit, I still feel I have a long way to go before I feel fully recovered. I'm starting to feel better too because I am purging my home of all the old junk and clutter that has accumulated over the years and my mother and I are planning to re-arrange the furniture and renovate and re-decorate.

Speaking of my mother though, we are not having the best relationship right now. We are constantly fighting, bickering and arguing, sometimes it even gets explosive and brings tears and mean words are exchanged. I want to live on my own independently, seeing as I am 23 years old but I am just not able to do that on my own yet. I need to save up for a couple of years and have a really steady income or a partner.

I'm hoping I can find remedies to help all my issues, but I think I should focus on my health firstly.

I know that the most important part of the bedroom is the bed itself. My Pa Kua number is 2. And my health direction (Tien Yi) is West. I don't have a compass yet (going to buy one very soon), but I know my directions roughly well, and right now it seems like my bed is facing South (Lui Shar - six killings) direction.

I would be more than ok with switching my bed to face West, but then my window would be on the same wall, not directly above me, but more towards my left when I am laying down. Also, the door would be towards my right when I am laying down, and a huge closet with sliding doors would be in front of me (where my feet are pointing) -don't worry, these don't have mirrors on them! I also have an ensuite bathroom on that wall in the North East corner.

If someone can advise me if this move would be safe/beneficial? Or is having the window/door/closet/bathroom in those positions worse then how I have my bed placed now.

Thank you!!

-Roxy

I think sleeping on leftside is a best for health and keeping ur digestive system working properly . But still i can't sleep by leftside because unfortunatley i've got a ulcer in my left side colon . so i always sleep straight .

Do you have a cell phone? Most cell phones have a compass under the utilities section. this is so much easier to use than a regular compass & you can get readings easily & more accurately. Use this to help find your best directions. If your phone doesn't have this, see if a friend has a iphone - these phones have this feature.

all the best,
