Hello there, I would be extremely thankful on any comments related on how to proceed on our case of our stairs leading straight to our bedroom door..........our house is a very old one, about 100 years old, it is a very functional spaced housed design wise but not Feng shui wise., we have become aware of the Feng Shui approach to living , and are learning very slowly. I came across Lillian Too's comment on the stairs and the bedroom door, as a warning to have, but I'm not too clear on how to counteract against it. We thank you very much for any insight on this matter.

You will have to slow down the energy going up the stairs. Place paintings or photos in large frames along the stair wall. If you can, place a large plant or other obstruction at the top of the stairs even if it is on the side. Try to arrange your bed to where the door does not open to it and your feet do not point toward it. If the stairs are broken into flights this is good.
