Dear Seniors and Friends,

WOFS is getting worst in terms of spams and etc. To my horror, I received a alot of spam messages and spam responses from the forum discussion topics...

Can we do anything about this?

Only kenji and hoemun can ban members.
Moderators can only delete posts what we do but spammers are fasters.

Dear Moderators,

I am getting spam letters from this forum in my email and they are increasing.
Somebody is posting medicinal advertisements in this forum lately. This is really bad you should ban these members this is a fengshui forum.

The spam will destroy this Forum if not stopped.
One can no longer tell what threads are new with questions or answers, and which are mere spam. So there's little point coming here.
Don't despair. The situation may not be nearly as bad as you think.

Deva dog is right. I am no longer answering questions because I am too busy taking out spam by the dozens. If the administrators can not block the spam then the spammers can have it. I am not coming back to take out spam again.

Hello.....

Is the forum really beyond hope?

How to mute account notifications?

If we don't want our accounts cancelled, should at least give us an option to turn off notifications,
as the spams are making a killing.

Hello,

Very very sad, every morning I have to perform Cosmic Spam Mail Cleansing in my mailbox.

Yesterday I saw RapaNui working very hard clearing all the spam. Well done!! RapaNui, but this is not a bullet proof way. If administrator or owner is not taking any action then please close the forum site and save all the members here from being harassed by such spam.

I am daily clearing my email of these spam letters.

I thinks so this infliction is greater than Grand Duke, Sui Po, 3 Killings, Fan yin, Fu Yin, 5 Yellow star, 2 sickness star and all worst star combined in a box. The Great Spam star in 2012.

Every day, I have almost 15 spam mails, I was thinking someone has hacked into the wofs and started giving out the advertisements. I belive blocking their IP will be a better one.

Hi Gautam,
you have spam mails cause you subscribe topics. So when "spam" is written in this topic (which you subscribed) you have mail about it with the full text.

I also think that it need block this IP but....we, moderators, CANNOT do it !
As I wrote : ONLY administrators (Kenji or Hoemun) can ban and block.
Moderator can ONLY delete such posts, what I do from some days...this is "Sisyphean job".
