Hi
I have a dilemma and would appreciate well-intended advices or perspectives from fellow practitioners.
Both my husband and I belong to the West group with Kua #7, and I am a Wood Snake and he is a Fire Horse. Our masterbedroom is in the SE/S location with the bed against a solid wall pointing NE. Since the SE is afflicted with #5 Yellow, I wanted to move out of this bedroom. My husband has cancer and I take any dangers to health very seriously.
One bedroom I can use is in the NW/W location. But the main problem is that the only solid wall for headboard to rest against is pointing SW (which is afflicted with #3). So I placed the bed kitty-cornered to face WEST. But because the room is smaller, part of the bed crosses into the NW. Also the bed in this room does not have a solid headboard and I feel "exposed" lying in the bed.
Here are my questions:-
1) Between the 2 choices - SE/S or NW/W - which is the lesser harm for us? I have read that this year the #5 Yellow is weaker in due to the Wood element in SE and the #7 Robery is very strong in the NW due to Metal on Metal in this sector. I'm concerned that the NW affliction may be too strong, particularly for my husband.
2) Is it ok to angle the bed to tap into the WEST direction? The corner is pointing away from the bed not at the bed.
3) I've thought about placing a screen divider behing the headboard to create a "wall" against the bed. What do you think of this idea? Would it work?
4) If we use the SE/S bedroom, one option is to move the bed more into the South sector but this would mean the bed is "hanging" in the middle of room with the headboard (which is solid) not resting against any wall but still pointing NE direction.
5) Finally, I have one other bedroom option - it is in the N/NE sector with the bed pointing NE direction. The headboard would be resting against a partial wall between two windows and would straddle both North and NE sector. With my husband's health issue, I was reluctant to go near the North with the #2 Illness star. Any thoughts on this?
Thank you so much in advance for your help.
