Hi there. Always remember that in a relationship, it always takes two to tango. Otherwise, the whole dance would be a disaster or a failure in the worse case.
Just like in your relationship. You are in a state where there are so many factors to consider (one major factor I guess is cultural differences...you being a Filipina and him, being Japanese), you are in a long distance relationship, his family is in big disagreement of your relationship, him being married to another woman (whom according to you he has divorced - were you able to validate it? - this may be the reason why he can not hold on to his promise, which is to marry you....).
But, if the 2 of you really want to fight for the relationship, no matter what happens, you will hold on to each other's arms and continue dancing....
But I guess, the situation tells otherwise.....maybe it's time for you to consider moving on....
