I am not the type that follows the books theory deeply, so in my learning of Shen Sha it is a form of Symbolic Stars used to complement the bazi. There are many Symbolic Stars but just that Zi Wei Dou shu, I only used a handful of important Stars as a guideline. So different calculator has different preference and it may not be the same.

You are presently now in your Day Pillar age, your month pillar is already history so why are you so concern about it.?. Generally I only use it as a guideline or deeper investigation as to what will happen during the prevailing age cycle. For example if there are any bad stars that cause bloodshed then I will do blood donation or blood test every year. This is to withdraw some blood from your body to substitute the bloodshed bad events. If there are bath romance then just be mindful and cut down your visit to those sensitive entertainment places, if you still loyal to your spouse.lol

Also if you have Hua Gai Star then you will prevail well in learning Metaphysics or religious learning. If you have Hua Gai in all the 4 pillars then I will recommend you to be a monk or hermit. Lol

Now take your present Day Pillar, using my software you have 3 Symbolic Stars in which consist of Wu Gui, Blood Star and Blessing Star. So Wu Gui will bring obstacles in life and always blame by others, Blood Star will be bloodshed. But there is a Blessing Star which will turn all bad adverse effect into a blessing. You are safe, go and donate blood for good karma. lol

Hong Yan Star is a flower of romance star which make you look handsome and attractive in front of the women. This could lead to martial affair and need to be mindful if there is a Direct Clash into the said palace of your Earthly Branch.

It is very difficult to explain how the heaven void impact on a chart. As for me, I will just bear in mind if there is a heaven void and only apply it when having problem to find an answer to the decoding.

I am new to this forum and hope you do not mind my intrusion in your discussion concerning four pillars.

After reading some of the explanation by Bernard concerning BAZI issues in the forum, although I cannot fully understand all the explanations due to my little knowledge, but I am very motivated to know and hope to clarify some of the basics of BAZI readings. I hope Bernard can enlighten more!

To begin with, I gathered that all harms, combinations, clash, penalties, void, yang Ren etc , if found in a BAZI chart is considered as internal clashes and has potential to happen when triggered. Are all these clashes triggered by the DM when the DM age is not in his/her day pillar age range, or these internal clashes will trigger when the affected pillar become active based on the following age range [1-16, 17-33, 34-48, 49---] of the person concern?

Hi Gofen,

When a chart shows clashes and combinations it straight away indicates some events that are going to happen in your life journey irrespective of whether it will be triggered. However you still need to look at the whole chart to determine the influence.

Yes the influence will be more prominent when you reach the respective age of the pillar cycle. Different pillar clashes have a different effect on the DM and the best is the Day Pillar is free from encumbrance.

I gathered that each pillar has some form of relationship with the DM, like Year Pillar related to ancestors, Month Pillar related to parents, siblings etc.

Let’s say heaven void or Kong Wang is found at the day pillar of a lady’s chart. The element at the spouse palace is favorable to her DM. No clashes etc to the spouse palace, which remain intact in her Chart. Am I right to say that if she chooses to marry before 34 she will likely to face problems concerning her spouse during the age of 34 to 48, and if marry at 49, her spouse will be fine?

A person spouse star will only be triggered when they marry, so if the heaven void fall in the spouse palace then it will be advisable not to marry during the age of 33 to 48. However they can still marry during this period if they know how to select a good marriage date. Also if there is nobleman star inside, it can help to reduce the bad influence.

Let’s say a person got married with an auspicious date chosen during the age of 36, and two years later an annual penalty or clash happen at the person spouse palace, will the void fall at the spouse palace help to reduce the effect? What if a nobleman star is present?

And let’s say the element at the spouse palace is unfavorable to her DM or having clashes with neighboring pillars, understand that the unfavorable effects will be reduced if heaven void fall in the spouse palace, does this means she can marry during the age of 33 to 48 without choosing a good date?

No, a spouse palace is a place where the spouse live and it can contain any form of element and not necessary the DM spouse element. When I said a spouse star is triggered it mean the palace is also triggered. Before marriage the spouse palace can be used to represent the DM’s mindset.

As you know when a heaven void fall in the Day Pillar it reflect the DM may not enjoy a blissful marriage or the affinity between husband and wife are frail. This will be the DM destiny for the whole life and not necessary only when it reaches the Day Pillar age cycle. However any combination and clashes can help to dissolve the bad influence so if internally there is such influence then it will reduce the influence of the Heaven Void. Likewise if the decade or annual luck cycle does create a combination or clashes it will also reduce the influence or further reduced if the chart has internal combination and clashes.

I think overall you still need to look at the whole chart rather then just base on assumption. A good marriage date selection is still very important because it could help to offset any bad influence

Does this imply even if the person got married at 50 when spouse star was triggered, the void effect is still there for the rest of the person’s life?

(2)Is it possible to eliminate heaven void influence fall at the day pillar by not following traditions in marriage or using Man’s Luck or feng shui remedies?

(3)Hope you are able to share some pointers (concerning heaven void at the day pillar) on the process involved in looking at the whole chart of a lady who got married at the age of 22 as shown below:

In regard to your question 1 – As I told you when there is a Heaven Void it will have a whole life effect and if you marry on the age of the Day Pillar it will be more prominent.

As for your question 2 – Yes you can use feng shui and Man Luck to control because bazi only constitute only one-third of the Cosmic of Trinity. In term of feng shui you need to check the house feng shui and control all the bad stars and in term of Man Luck you need to exercise better self control and understand toward each other.

Looking at this person chart I think she needs to be mindful with her relationship in her present decade luck cycle. There will be a third party snatching her spouse away and this year there is a fan yin in her decade luck which will not be favorable to her.

May I know was she married in year 1998?

The lady under discussion got married during June 1998. I read up a bit on fan yin and I guess her present decade luck is Ding Hai. She is also facing the heaven void day pillar age range now. Would be happy if you could explain how you determine each of the unfavorable influence or event going to or likely to happen to her.
