My husband is an Earth Rooster with Kua #4. I'd like to activate his wealth and success using the aquarium method. I've been reading about it at Feng Shui World. At the moment, I placed the aquarium on top of a tall cabinet (above adult head level) in the North West area. Is this a good place for the aquarium?

Any advice will be very much appreciated.

Water shall be placed at a lower level and not high on top because placing high will signify water drowning you. In Period 8 and according to the Direct and Indirect Spirit Water shall not be in the NorthWest. What is your house facing direction and also the period of your house?

Hi Bernard,

Thanks so much for replying. I just found out the house we're currently in was built in 2003. So, the period of our house is Period 7 and using feng shui compass app I got a reading of our house facing E2 88.8 and E3 98. I don't know why it changes, maybe I need an actual compass.
My kua and my first daughter # is 5. My oldest son is 6 and my youngest son is 7 if that helps.

Question: our house shape is not completely rectangular. The garage is in front of the house and slightly potruding than the front door and office. If we utilize the whole house, the back porch is in the NW. Do we count the back porch space or it doesn't count as a living space?

Yes, it is very common in taking compass reading and this is due our standing position when taking reading. Anyway it is ok since East 2 and East 3 fall under the same Trigram Border. There are three sectors which you can place your aquarium.

Best location is at Southwest - Locating an aquarium in the Southwest is the most favorable for those working in the property development or building management related industries. Locating water here give you an opportunities to generate wealth through property transactions or property investment and sales.

Second best location is at Southeast - If the occupants of the household are mainly professionals, then the Southeast location may be better for an aquarium. This location enables forward and upward career progress for professionals, activating the Southeast energies with water also mean lots of helpful people, mentors and people who assist you on your way up the career ladder.

Third best location is at North - The North would be a good water location if the occupants of the property rely on popularity and recognition to earn their keep. Water here brings wealth through the ability to sell yourself as a brand or through product endorsements as you will have popularity and public recognition.

You can select either one of the above that suit you best and if the sector happens to fall into your bedroom or sector that is not convenience to place the aquarium then you can micro it into your living room.

Usually only the enclosed sector of the house will be taken into consideration. If you back poach is not enclosed then you can leave it out.
