I read that spam is getting worst. I do forums too.

The mean culprit here all the spammers using automatic program to

create a account and confirmation of email.

If you can block this program you will cut down the spam tremendously.

This can be done during your registration.
Put in a captcha recognition like what you what I saw when posting this new topic.

Many like in Malaysia are using dynamic IP which is recycle among the users. This means blocking a particular IP
might penalise the wrong innocent person.

We cannot eliminate all spam only way is to make it harder.

it's good that there's a catcha now..because I kept on getting a lot of spam in my site too..thanks for the info!!!
