WHY YOU ABSOLUTELY MUST NOT MISS
LILLIAN TOO’S EXTRAVAGANZA 2011
As we complete the Tiger Year and look towards the Rabbit, while common sense may suggest a milder year ahead, the feng shui charts indicate that the Metal heavenly stem will make it more of an Iron Rabbit than a golden one. And the Tiger has not left the scene; he is still very much in the picture, appearing in 2 of the year’s four pillars. This is not to say there won’t be opportunities for wealth and success. Quite the contrary. In fact, for 10 of the 12 animal signs, 2011 holds out quite outstanding promise BUT against the backdrop of a difficult year.
Lillian Too will be sharing with you exactly what each of you have to do to ensure you make the most of a year that’s characterized by clashing elements but at the same time so encouraging in terms of personal good luck. In this year’s event, Lillian will be giving out special amulets designed to counter very specific afflictions in the coming year. These amulets will be specially consecrated for their purpose and will be given free to every participant of her Extravaganza events. She visits four locations this coming year starting with Tahiti in December, followed by Malaysia, Singapore and Las Vegas, USA in January. Do not miss this event because it will be bigger than ever before!
NUMBER PATTERNS & BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS
This last October, much attention has been showered on the play on numbers: 10.10.10 was deemed very auspicious by some practitioners, while others viewed it with more circumspect. What it definitely was good for was for being born. Babies with a 10th October 2010 birthdate are predicted by the almanacs to lead a life of recognition, power and glorious success. As we approach 2011, we get the same again, but the power of 1 gets even more pronounced. 11th January 2011 just happens to be 11.1.11 and coincidentally (or not) falls on Lillian’s birthday. World of Feng Shui have an exciting program planned for the whole month of January to commemorate this event, with special surprises including lots and lots of presents, goodies and free gifts at the Extravaganzas as well as World of Feng Shui boutiques. WHITE LIGHT MAGIC
This issue we put the spotlight on all things magic. Lillian Too’s inaugural Course on Cosmic White Light Magic (see page 20) saw 28 specially chosen students complete a course on Unleashing the Dragon, delving deeper into the third dimension of feng shui practice. The power of the mind is mind-blowing (pardon the pun) and it seems the consciousness of the world is shifting in this direction. Hollywood’s latest offerings feature some great magic at work, with JK Rowling’s Harry Potter leading the pack. Inside we compare film magic with real magic, with plenty of suggestions to further whet your appetite.
GOING GAGA OVER GAGA
The other current great force in the world must be Lady Gaga (page 10) who has captured the imagination of literally every age group and every demographic profile there is. While she gets column inches in the media for her exhibitionist tendencies and outrageous dress sense, rip away the trimmings and there’s still oodles of seemingly unending talent. When you think you have her sussed, she surprises you with something completely new. She is one of those rare stars who truly deserves her celebrity status; and the more you find out about her, the more there is to admire and to like.
AND SO MUCH MORE...
Glorious photography brings to life glorious inspiration. Chris Yeo takes his feng shui and photography lens to Shanghai, bringing back his breathtaking perspective of the fabulous Shanghai Expo 2010, an expo on a grander scale than ever seen in the world before (page 56). Lillian and her Mafia gang meanwhile bring back images of New York in the Fall, with an interview with Amy Miller, an American political activist turned Buddhist-nun who gave everything up to serve her Lama. Dr Nick Ribush is another such story, of a highly qualified professional searching for a higher meaning in life. There’s no shortage of inspiration if we only stop to look around and notice. In this issue, we pick some of the best of these to highlight.
Happy Deepavali, Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas, New Year and have a wonderful read!
