New forum? I was never able to read any answers to my old question, (posted like the day before this forum went down) so I will ask.

I live in a tiny period 8 apartment (on the bottom floor of a two story building) with only two and a half rooms, facing NE1. The problem is, while doing the charts, I realised that I have a load of 2, 5 and 8s in the very middle.



What remedies can I place to keep a reign on the 2 and 5 while still being able to enhance the 8?
Would placing a saltwater cure on the top of my fridge help? (right in the middle in that corner of the pink room there)

Salt water cures are used for the 5 and 2,you can place it anywhere as long as it is not in a cuboard.It must be exposed to air,it is also classified as yin water so as far as I know you can place it in your kitchen. There is also the 6 rodwindchime you can hang with 6 chinese coins hanging from it,as metal weakens the earth element.I think the salt water cure would work great or double up with some chimes.Good luck

The Center sector is not a three dimensional place... it is the Heart. Cures will not work.
Also, the 5 is at home in the Center ... that's probably the safest sector for it to fall in!

If you apply the 8-sector pie form over your plan, it will give you better insight. In rectangular spaces like this, some sectors are large and others small, and therefore have less influence. But the 9-grid prevents you from seeing that

This year, as the 8 is in the center, you can focus on the 9.

BTW, at first glance your have a good chart... all the important stars are in good spots. If the chart is correct (facing calculated accurately, sectors laid out accurately...based on wedges) and external forms are supportive, there could be many prosperous times here. If you used the space correctly. But remember, the Flying Stars Chart is only a map of potentials, not a promise of destiny

That's interesting, how do I apply Flying Star Feng Shui to a pie base?
Is there an online calculator for that?

There are templates available on-line...and I seem to recall I've even seen an application where you up-load the jpeg of your floorplan and apply the template (rotating it to get the facing correct)
But the Moderators do not permit links here.

It is really just a matter of over-laying a compass (with all 360 degrees shown) over the exact center of your floor plan (again rotated to get the facing exactly correct). Then you can see how each sector really falls and compares to the rooms. You still need to extrapolate then how the qi flows.

To really understand Flying Stars, though, this chart is only the beginning.
You need to consider the chart for this Period and its effects
You need to consider which are the auspicious sectors and which the bad ones (which is independent of the flying stars and tells you how the stars will behave in each sector) and more.
This is why so many people talk about Flying Stars, but so few benefit from it

Think of the flying Stars chart as a map revealing places where you may sometimes benefit for prosperity or for health if you "play them right." And other places where you can't get anything good accomplished. And the remaining places that are mixed use.

If you can correctly identify the good sectors and the good times to employ them, the chart is very valuable.
But if you can't correctly understand the interactions, the levels and timeliness, then everything you do with it will be hit or miss. Sometimes you'll stumble onto doing the right thing in the right sector, and sometimes you won't.
The right sector in the wrong time can do you little good.

And sometimes the right sector turns out to be the bathroom or a store room and you can't put your office of bedroom there! Then it is simply useless to you. Sometimes a bad sector is the only place you can place your ofice or bedroom. Then you have to use all the other Arts you can to make something good with the resources you have.

Not every house can be "cured" into prosperity and health.
