Hi everyone,
I am currently studying the 12 stages of life cycle where a person's life conditions during the 4 periods of living (childhood, youth, middle age, and old age) can be determined based on a person's day master Heavenly Stem with his/her 4 Earthly Branches.

I have a question and I wonder if anyone here knows the answer.

Question: What would be the conclusion if a person's life conditions in both his middle age and old age are at the highest peak (attaining the 5th stage)? A straight answer should be very good, but then the 2 Earthly Branches at the hour and day pillars would result in self persecuting clash (because of 2 similar elements). So at the end of the day, is the final conclusion good or bad, and why?

Anyone know the answer?

An example is the hour pillar having Yang Wood (HS) and Yang Fire (EB). For the day pillar, Yang Fire (HS) and Yang Fire (EB).
So based on the day master Yang Fire and both the EB Yang Fire, the person can be said to enjoy a period of apex from middle age to old. But at the same time, the 2 EB elements (horse) create self punishing clash. So can this person's life be considered good or bad?

Or can we just say that this person will enjoy very good life but at the same time may participate in self-punishing? Very contradicting to me.

Is the person born in June or May.

You did not write the month pillar. The 12 stages are based on the birth month or month branch sign.

No idea with the month and year.
Just know born somewhere in the 2nd half.

Even this 2nd half is not so sure.
Does it really matter?
What if the month is positive for the day master?
What if it is negative?

How do we derive the 12 stages of life cycle? Is it ONLY from the month branch???
Is these 12 stages of life cycle accurate? Or too generalise? We have to look at all the interactions in Bazi Chart???

I am a fan of Joey Yap. I have read his 3 books thoroughly and not even one did he mention about 12 stages of life. That is why I am curious, is it because it lacks the accuracy? AND I seldom see people in this forum (or other forums) use the 12 stages of life to analyse the bazi chart. Please advise shifus for all of us to learn . THANK YOU

As far as I understand, the 12 stages cover the old age (hour pillar), the middle age (day pillar), youth (month pillar) and childhood (year pillar). And the stages are determined by the day master's Heavenly Stem in relation to each pillar's Earthly Branch. So if you want to know whether the old age is good or not, then find the relationship between the day pillar's Heavenly Stem and the hour pillar's Earthly Branch.

I am not exactly sure how accurate is the 12 stages but I figured many super rich people I checked have very good stages of life, like they may be nurtured during young (in stages like "bath", "nurture", "conception", "attire", etc) and then turned "coming of age" or "peak prosperity" after reaching adulthood. There are also some very rich and successful people with no such good stages and I wonder if they give wrong birth date. I rarely find (so far, at least) super rich people with stages of life like "death" or "grave", for example Lakshmi Mittal.

The birth month of DM is zi which is december.

In december water is at prosperity peak and thus Fire which is the wealth element of gui(water) is at conception stage, which means not yet born thus the wealth element fire is more than weak that is actually nil.

That means you would be doing research on drug patents, pick a promising one out, reproduce it slightly differently, and sell it cheap?
