I recently discovered the extremely interesting world of Bazi Readings. I am captivated. However, I’m also a bit confused, because as an English speaker, there is little material to help direct a student. If you know I would definitely appreciate the help! I’m very interested in the luck pillars, etc.

From what I’ve picked up from zealously digging around, that my day master is “Trapped” Wood, and fire shows up in 3 of my 8 pillars (most dominant element, I suppose). I don’t understand my hidden stems or what the Hurting Officer, Eating God, or the 7 Killings appearances are on my chart. I just don’t get it.

I’m struggling quite a bit in direction in my career and turned to the Bazi for this but I think I’m more confused that I was when I started! I know that I am going through a new 10 year luck pillar just about 1.5 years ago and I have had a lot of changes. Any help at all with my chart would be MUCH appreciated.

Thank you for your patience and time with me as I explore Bazi through understanding my own chart with my personal experiences.

I have had a series of "false-starts" in my career and changed a lot of careers since getting out of university in 2004.

Is there something in my chart/luck pillars that points to this? I understand that I will thrive in the written word but I am struggling to find my destiny and the direction where I will succeed. I feel right now that I am a fish out of water in my job- I work in a support role in technology.
