I just want to ask if the address Block 14 lot 17 is bad in Feng Shui. My wife and I are planning to construct a new house here which her father owns. Our birthdays are as follows 09/14/1982 and 02/14/1981. His father's birthday is 10/04/1944. Is it bad luck to stay there? Please advise.

In feng shui there is no superstition in numbers. Yes for Chinese the no. 14 sound pretty bad as it sound like “sure die” in Cantonese dialect. However if your Kua no is either 6 or 7 then 14 can also be your lucky no.

Overall it is important to have a good external and internal landform because in feng shui we talk about qi and not superstition numbers. I have an old neighbor who live in house no.4 but 5 years later he became a multi-millionaire.

You must also consider that the property price of such houses will fetch slightly lower if you are staying in a Chinese populated country.

Looking at buying a block of land to buy a single storey house as current place too small - it's number is lot 51A - to me looks like 514 - sounds like wo ya si (I want to die)!

My kua is 6 (dragon)
wife 3 - (goat)
daughter (2 yr) - 7 (tiger)

Based on Bernard154 explaination - I should just go with the external and internal landform.

The numbers do not seem particularly inauspicious. But, there are so many more feng shui considerations when beginning a new construction. You will need someone experienced in feng shui to look at your house plans and to make an on site inspection of your lot.
