This issue we feature several strong women who epitomize success and achievement in today’s modern era. Living in the 21st century really does require grit, determination and yes, also a thick skin, especially if you are an heiress and your last name is recognisable around the world. We bring you the low down on Paris Hilton and Ivanka Trump, two gorgeous female scions of American famous families born in Yin Rooster years. They epitomise modern success aspirations, Paris being a style icon a la California style and Ivanka the symbol of modern New York classic chic. Then there is Diane von Furstenburg who comes from my mother’s generation. She is in her sixties but epitomizes strength, fortitude and determination in today’s woman, probably more than anyone else. She says she has no time to grow old because she’s just too busy! From Malaysia, we are so proud to feature our own lady of strength Azrin Zuhdi, adventurer extraordinaire who recently conquered 80km through the desert heat and dust of Inner Mongolia on horseback, making her the first Malaysian to ever try something like this!
