Wear the Mystic Knot or “8” symbols and be among the first to welcome the Period of Eight. The Period of Eight is particularly important as it marks the end of the previous Period of Seven. Everything connected with Period of Seven has diminished in strength and the number “7” is no longer as lucky as “8” takes over! So all numbers containing a series of eights are now even more auspicious, from telephone, passport, identity card and PIN numbers to car plates.
To wear jewellery designed with interlinked “8s” can only be seen as being in the swim of things. The Period of Eight started in February 2003 and will only end on 3 February 2023. Investing in personal products vested with this lucky number is worthwhile as the Period of Eight lasts a full 20 years.
“Changing and fi xing your home to be in tune with the new Period of Eight is not easy as you will need an in-depth knowledge of Flying Star Feng Shui. A quick, easy and just as effective way is to wear jewellery that focus on the number “8”. The “8” can appear as a straightforward digit or designed as several “8s” meshed together. On its own, the Mystic Knot is already used to activate undying love and never-ending success and riches. Worn today when we are in the period of Eight can only enhance its powers manifold!”
The latest additions to Lillian Too’s Auspicious Jewellery Collection features new versions of the Mystic Knot pendant as well as a complete set of pendant, earrings and ring of the symbol “8”.

The Mystic Knot
In ancient China, the Mystic Knot (which appears in various forms) was used extensively as the lattice window motifs in grand mansions and palaces. It ranked equal in popularity with the longevity sign. Back then, the Mystic Knot emblem was used as part of the window decoration in lieu of curtains, blinds and lace.
As it is, lacey designs in jewellery are beginning to get popular and is set to be one of the new trends in 2005. The lacey effect is put to the max with the Mystic Knot Pendant which comes in two versions, one on its own and another cosily encased inside an elegant rectangle.
Each pendant is edged entirely with fine white diamonds, the king of gems for a dazzling sparkle. The two Mystic Knot pendants also echo the Art Deco influence with their sleek symmetrical lines that are absolutely timeless. For more information, visit www.oejewellery.com .
