Alcoholism is an addiction, so far I know. Many theory were written about "Addiction", most of that "addition" was related to different kind of problems. One of the theory you can find it in your Date of Birth.

Try that first, there are here many people who will explain it to you, without DOB or your house-plan is very hard to tell.
