Feng Shui Thailand

Fairies and Feng Shui comes to Bangkok!

Eight adorable fairies graced the grand opening of World Of Feng Shui Boutique in Thailand. It was officiated on the 27th of January 2005 with the little fairies revealing the boutique’s trademark signage in prosperous red and gold. The dainty fairies, which were the brainchild of WOFS Thailand, definitely gave the ceremony a lovely twist. Then, Thailand’s franchisee, Miss Ireen Ong gave an opening speech.

The ceremony also saw Miss Ireen giving a short feng shui talk. After which, a Q&A session was held to help guests develop a stronger understanding of feng shui.

Significant with every WOFS boutique opening, a cleansing ceremony was held with 2 staffs ringing the 7-metal bell to invite fresh yang energy into the outlet. Riding strong on the feng shui theme, WOFS Thailand whipped up a unique concoction, serving guests with refreshments that represented the 5 elements – fire, earth, metal, water and wood – to ensure a successful run for the business.

An exciting Wish Fulfilling Balloon ritual followed this. All guests were invited to write down their wishes on the balloons, which would be released later into the sky. It is said that the divine energy of the universe can bring opportunities to grant those wishes. The crowd was all very keyed up and enthusiastic, eagerly writing down their wishes. Then, Ireen led her guests to the building’s rooftop to release the 188 red and gold balloons.

Among the special guests present at the event were Mr. Thanit Shumnij, the First Vice President of Kasikorn Bank and guest-of-honour, Dr. Nittiphan Jerapat.

The opening of the WOFS boutique was also in conjunction with the launch of World of Feng Shui Publishing office located in Bangkok.

Smiles all around to mark an auspicious opening!
