My In-Laws had a water features placed on the right-hand side of main door.
Understand from Lillian Too's fengshui book that no water feature should be placed on the right-hand side of main door.
Would be grateful if you can advise/ provide any tips to counter this without removing the water feature, many thanks.

Please clarify and answer these questions. Is this water feature at your home or the home of your in-laws? Do you and your husband live with your in-laws? As you stand in the doorway, looking to the outside, is the water feature to your right? Do your in-laws like you and treat you well? I will try and find more information about this.

Thanks for your response.
The water feature is at my in-laws place locating on the right side if I stand at the doorway looking out.
I will be moving in this September after the customary.
Currently, my relationship with in-law is still fine however things might change after moving in as we will get to see more frequent.
I would be very grateful if you can advise me on this, many thanks.

Do you & your husband have to move in with the in - laws? How does your husband feel about moving in with his parents? And how long will you be living there?

Yes, I will be moving into my in-laws place after customary. He is fine staying with his parents.
Our place will only be ready in 2015 hence likely to stay with them for the 4 years.

I am not sure how the water outside the door will affect you & your husband since this is your in-laws home and I cannot find information about this. Sin Way, JackieLee, Rapanui, or hoemum, & Mentor777 are the people who can assits you more with question.

Thanks all for your guidance. As mentioned I only realised this when I came across one of Lillian’s book that it is not advisable to have water features at right-hand side of main door, hence has contacted for guidance.

Hi I am also interested in this topic. I would like to know if we change the front door of the house so that the water feature will then be at the left side of the front door but the facing direction of the house is still the same as before, will that help ? Thanks

IMO this is just a taboo that having water feature at the right side of main door will result in marital affairs and relationship problems.

UNLESS your main door is facing the 4 flower of romance direction which are E2, S2, W2 and N2 and the man of the house bazi flower of romance direction happen to fall on the actual direction of the above.
