Last two months have been hectic and happening, with Lillian Too’s Extravaganza Roadshow proceeding full steam ahead from Singapore to KL and Hawaii. Next stop is London. In between we took a family vacation to the mountains of Vail to recharge for the new astrology cycle. We follow the advice of ancient masters and go in search of great waters and great mountains. There is nothing more auspicious than breathing deeply the chi of the winds and waters to prepare for the start of a new Zodiac cycle… so we went from the rolling waters of the Pacific Ocean to the embracing winds of the Rocky Mountains to get well and truly refreshed and energized for the next twelve years. Those wanting to feel similarly recharged can capture the best of the winds and waters anytime all through the current year! The waters will bring you fresh new wealth luck while the mountains bring new friendships and relationships.

When we returned home to welcome in the New Year it was to receive the most heavenly “gift” possible. The Chinese consider jade the “imperial gem that creates pathways to heaven”, believing that when the time comes for you to receive the luck from heaven, a special jade bangle comes into your life. Our friend Winnie Sin that divine lady who herself wears the most sensational jades told us she had two perfectly sized jade bangles in the deepest most glorious shades of green. Both pieces were mesmerizing and came from the same rock. The two sizes fitted perfectly, one for my hand and one for Mummy who quietly whispered to me, ‘they are meant for us… and they are too special to ignore”.

Mummy told me “Jade is the stone to wear in the coming year of the Ox, meaning ‘coming prosperity’, so the timing was great. So those of you planning big things for the future, keep an eye out for the right kind of jade!

In this issue we honour the Jolie-Pitt family bandwagon for so successfully spotlighting the troubled spots of the world. Brad and Angelina are Rabbits so the year ahead looks promising for them. Another lady to watch is versatile and talented Cate Blanchett who is up for two Oscars at the Academy Awards this year. Like the Jolie Pitts she too is expecting a child in this Rat year, as are a host of other celebrity mums-to-be. We look at what they can expect from their Rat babies. All you expecting Mums looking to welcome Rat babies should find this piece interesting!

Spring is the best season for decluttering and spring cleaning so our articles on furniture, home décor and auspicious symbols should give the hands-on practitioner plenty to think about.
