Hi all! I purchased a wish-fulfilling bird from wofs and want to know if I can wish for my seven year old son to have excellent eye-sight. I started wearing glasses at 14yrs and I want my son to never need glasses. Unfortunately I've noticed recently he can't see as perfect as usual, and I believe he can improve his vision without taking him to the optomitrist who I know might prescribe glasses.
1. Can I write: "I wish for my son to always see clearly." Or do I write: "My son John Smith always has perfect eye-sight." (Present tense? Do I have to write his full name?)
2. Can I hang the bird in the entrance inside the main door? We live in an area where it can be very windy and I'd rather not put it outside.
3. Does it have to be flying in from his health direction? (kua 2)
I think nearly 1/3 of the population wears glasses (including myself). It would be more practical if you make sure your child do not spend too much time watching television, playing computer games or squinting to read in the dark. Also these days with the advance of technology, even if your child end up not having vision 20/20 ......you still can go for eye laser treatment.
"I wish for my son to always see clearly." Or do I write: "My son John Smith always has perfect eye-sight."
Neither of these wishes precludes the wearing of glasses. In fact, both are accomplished by wearing glasses. No one likes to wear glasses but thanks the them and modern surgery we may all see clearly with at least near perfect eye-sight.
