Even I am behind my monitor and I am in a different world, I still recognize your talents. From lots of Members in this Forum, I just pick you out from nowhere. Do you believe in "Fate"? You are truly a miracle to me, my hope and my Destiny. Wow, friend, I do love this Forum.


My first impression about the Father, you could recognize it immediately that there is something wrong about him. I quickly check the first son, not impressive. I quickly check the second son, again not impressive. The third one, BINGO!, I got it.

Do you see it too?


This is now the work of Mother Nature; this is now the Wonderful of Bazi-decoding. This is now the Wonderful about the Western Medicine (Mendel-theory) and Traditional Chinese Medicine combines it with 4 Pillars of Destiny. This is why I am passionate about it, what a Theory and what a Discovery, many times over and over again, what a magnificent subject. It gives me hope; it gives me aspirations to explore about this subject more and all thanks to you.


Of course it is just a quickly check, I must study it further and zoom in later. Just remind you, I am just like you a Bazi and Feng Shui-explorer. It is still a very complex process, and I am still learning and I could make mistakes too.

Can you please do explain on how you had a quick glance with all the four, is it with the father' Day pillar and the son's month pillar. The information the doctor has given is all are with hypertension.

Hypertension (HTN) or high blood pressure is a cardiac chronic medical condition in which the systemic arterial blood pressure is elevated. What that means is that the heart is having to work harder than it should to pump the blood around the body.

The element that is associated with heart is Fire.

Father- Xin Si, Day master
Resourse ( earth) is at Hour pillar
Output - (Water) not present
Resitance- (Wood) at Heavenly stems of Year and month
Resitance (Fire)- at Day branch

You - Si - chou is a combination for water.

From hear I am unable to procced, can you please do help me.

First, without your information it had cost me extra day thinking.


A quick scan for a possible Health problem was made to identify the trend of a Heritage-illness. You could check the 10 year pillars of someone during the period 50-60 years. This is the period where the health-problems occur. You could look at the Father and the son’s chart if there is any unusual in both of their charts.

First identify a possible problems, later try to identify the source of the Illness. The second one is harder, because we have just 5 elements (5 Organs network) to fill in hundred of Western Medicine illness. You could understand my silence about your questions.

Unusual Health-charts are mostly:
1) Unbalance of the Yang or Yin Pillars
2) Unbalance of the elements, mostly 1 or 2 elements charts
3) Charts with Fire or Earth Penalties
4) Any Internal Clash or external Clash round the period of 50-65 years.

The Father’s Chart:
It seems you have difficulties with the Bazi-Calculator, so do I. That is the reason why I decode based on the Calculator of Joey Yap Online. If that calculator is wrong, I point the finger to that chart and not my interpretations to cover my mistakes. Of course I have my own sources to check that.

1) His Year Pillar is Yin Wood/Yin Metal: unstable and destruction pillar, HS doesn’t support EB.
2) His Month Pillar is Yin Wood/Yin Metal: unstable and destruction pillar, HS doesn’t support EB.
3) His Day Pillar is Yin Metal/Yin Fire: unstable and destruction pillar, HS doesn’t support EB.
4) Double Rooster-pillar: Self-Penalty
5) Snake, Rooster and Ox form very Strong Metal-Element
6) All his Pillars are in Yin-formation

A) With these 6 unusual charts-formations I already conclude that is something wrong about him.

To confirm the Mendel-Theory (Western Heritage Illness Theory), one of his sons must have also a very bad Health-chart. Although the first son (14/Jan/1970) had a Harm and an Internal Clash and at 53-63 and another external Clash, but it is still not convincing to me. The second son (11/Apr/1971) is more convinced, a Harm and a Half Fire-penalty and at later age an External Earth-Clash.

C) The third Son, he had an Internal Earth-penalty; the almighty GOD. Goat, Ox and Dog. Thereby his Day (Horse) and Month (Goat) form a Fire-season Pin-Clashing with his Ox (Earth). This son will probably suffer it most all his life and has the worst illness of all others. You must be very special to have such kind of Chart, because it involves 3 generations.

My conclusion about the Father and the third son was confirmed that indeed there is a Family Health-illness according to the Mendel-Theory, Traditional Chinese Medicine combined with the Destiny Code.

Now we know that there is a problem, we try to decode to find out what kind of problem, we will zoom in further.



I will start with the Father and the third son. The other two sons are a bit harder.

When I first looked at the father’s chart I had more a “Collapse Heart” in my mind. After zoom closer in his 10 year Luck Pillars I could understand why he had an “Exaggerated Heart”.

Although he could have an extreme strong Metal chart, but if you look closer his Metal is not strong at all. Why extreme strong?
1) Snake, Rooster and Ox form strong Metal combination
2) He is Yin Metal born in Metal-season and has double Rooster Pillars.

On the Heavenly Stems of the year and month pillars are Wood-element. Metal has its resistance Wood-element. Metal-element on the HS of the Day-pillar has its resistance of Earthly Branch Fire-element. The total picture of his Chart is quite tension, Metal-elements are losing its strength by those double resistance. The strength of this Metal depends also on his 10 year Luck Pillars and these are going to his Fire and Wood-season both will make the Metal-elements even weaker.

The first year when he was born, he couldn’t have a Hypertension illness. His Lung had suffered the most; probably he could have Asthma or Bronchitis. Metal clashes with Wood could relate to his Lung that was not worked properly. Since the Lung commands the Qi and the Heart rules the blood, the Lung and Heart depend upon each other. The beat of the Heart keeps pace with the breath, and the blood follows the Qi on its return to the heart. A congestion of Lung Qi impedes the circulation of blood, causing palpitations and fullness in the chest. The first ten years of his life he had suffered more with his Lung.

In Western Medicine they said that Hypertension could go together with Kidney-failure. As we already know that Kidney-Water is needed to control the Fire-heat of the Heart. Why Failure of the Kidney, Heat of the Heart by will dry out the Water in the Kidney. The Kidney is in Traditional Chinese Medicine a Water-element.

The problems of the Hypertension will start from his 10 years old. In the Fire-season the Water-element is at lowest ebb. Thereby during the Fire-season the Wood is very dry, because there is no Water to support the Wood-element. Dry Wood will makes Fire even stronger.

Back to the Basics of TC Medicine about the Heart:

Fire – Heart network

Wood – Resource – Liver network, is dry and was chopped down by Metal in his chart makes it more useful for more Fire-resources.
Earth – Output – Spleen network, there are two Earth-elements in the Hour-pillar. Earth will destroy the Water-Kidney.
Water – Resistance – Kidney network, Water is absent in his chart, during the Fire-season Water-element was not enough to cool down his Fire (Heart)
Metal – Resistance – Lung network, Metal is during the Fire-season weak.

During the Fire-season (see 10 year Luck pillars) his Metal couldn’t support the Water. Water is too weak to cool down his Heat of the Heart, which causes his Hypertension Illness. The Heart is not always the source of the Hypertension illness, as you could see the problem is more at the Water-resource, his Kidney by looking at his original 4 pillars of Destiny. So the Source of his problem is a Depleted Water-system, his Kidney-failure. To increase his Health, we need support the Kidney, or his Water-elements.
In TC Medicine it said there is no Yang within Yin Kidney, means there is no Yang Qi-flow from the Yin Kidney network. Now look in his chart again: All Yin and no Yang !!!


I think he has more problems than just a Hypertension illness from the quality of his pillars. His total Organs network is not working properly, from the age of 50 years old he could already have a Heart-attack during the Rabbit-Pillar of his 10 year Luck. He must be very lucky that he is still alive.

Why he had more Health-problems than just a Hypertension illness, you could see in the chart of his Third son.

The person born in 1945,( father), had no Heart attack durring Rabbit Pillar, he had a problem with the eyes that is cataract in 1999( Ji -Rabbit pillar and Ji - Rabbit year). He has Eczema- skin deseases and hypertension, This is the information he has given me, when I spoke to the doctor.

When is their is a combination, how do we define if the combination is Yin/ yang, and it strengths the DM is it yang / Yin, I have seen a Fu Yin Day pillar at 30 LP. How do we see Fu Yin and Fan Yin with refreance to the Health decode.

We have seen that in the Father chart’s the Water-element is weak, that couldn’t have enough Water-power to cool the heat of his heart causing Hypertension.

Now, let’s look in the third son’s chart. We already have noticed that he had the Almighty “GOD”-chart. Some one who had that kind of chart, in general their parents had also lucky charts as well. If someone has an Internal Earth or Fire Penalty, his Luck-life will be very concerning.

His chart:
Hour: 20:40 pm, Yang Water/Yang Earth - Dog : main hidden stem: Yang Earth
Day: 21, Yang Earth/Yang Fire – Horse : main hidden stem: Yin Fire
Month: 7, Yin Earth/Yin Earth – Goat : main hidden stem: Yin Earth
Year: 1973, Yin Water/Yin Earth – Ox : main hidden stem: Yin Earth

In GM Raymond Lo’s books he very rarely decode the Hidden stems, there must a reason for that, which I don’t know. Personal I use only the Main Hidden Stems to support my Decoding. IMO about decoding Health I have to focus on the big picture, in details is much better, but it will make more complexes than it already is.

As you could see there are plenty of Earth-elements, you could say his Earth-elements are extreme strong; even the main hidden stems are not supporting him, all Earth (Fire support Earth).

Reminder for readers, Western Medicine about Hypertension could relate to a Kidney-Failure. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, a Kidney-network belongs to a Water-element.

The basics of TC Medicine about the Water-element: One Resource, One Output and two Resistances, with Harmonic, Collapse or Exaggerated Network.

Water – Kidney network

Resource: Metal – Lung network, Weak and is under pressure, because his Metal-element will appear after his 65 years old.
Output: Wood – Liver network, Weak but is increasing during the period 35-55 years old.
Resistance: Earth – Spleen network, Extreme strong which makes his total chart unbalance.
Resistance: Fire – Heart network: Strong supporting by the Day and Month of the Fire-season. All of this Fire-Qi will shift and supporting the Earth-elements.

As you could see, his Chart Fire and Earth-elements are taking over his Chart. Fire related to his Heart, clashing with his Water. His Earth Spleen network is destroying his Kidney Water-element.

His Kidney will always under pressure and face of Collapsing: Kidney-Failure.

Again the same as his Father, you have to focus on his Kidney, rather on his Heart. This now the Power of Traditional Chinese Medicine combines with the Destiny Code.

How does his health look like in the future?

With and Internal almighty “GOD”-chart, his Luck could collapse anytime in the 10 Year Luck Pillars. His internal organs had already suffered and maybe already damaged during his 0-25 years old. During this period the strength is at highest point, if it is already permanent damage, at later age it will not been recovered.

There will a Danger Zone of the 60 years cycle, could he with his weak chart survive this 60 years Clash? I would like to be positive about it, but sometimes I can’t and I hope he will.

Now you understand why his Health-Luck was under pressure during the Rabbit- Luck Pillars are clashing with his two Rooster pillars, luckily his heart is still strong. The heat of his heart needs Ouput and attacks the eyes and his skin.

In the charts of the Father and Son 3 (21 July 1973) we have seen that both of them had weak Water-elements, they have a possible Kidney-failure in the charts. These people had suffered IMO more about their health-issues than son 1 and son 2.

Although in the chart of Son 1 (14 Jan 1970) there are lots of combinations, clashes and Energy shift; I will make it not too complicated only just Elements interpretations.

Son 1: 14 Januari 1970, time of birth 6:50 AM

His chart:
Hour: 6:50 AM, Yin Fire/Yin Wood - Rabbit : main hidden stem: Yin Wood
Day: 14, Yang Fire/Yang Wood – Horse : main hidden stem: Yin Fire
Month: 01, Yin Fire/Yin Earth – Ox : main hidden stem: Yin Earth
Year: 1970, Yin Earth/Yin Metal – Rooster : main hidden stem: Yin Metal

As we could see the Fire elements in the Hour and Day pillars are overwhelmed. These Fire-elements will support the Earth in the Month pillar. In the main hidden stems we could also see that Fire and Earth elements are dominant.

We could also see that in the charts of the Father and Son 3, that Strong Fire and Earth are the destroyer of Water. Water-element is in TC Medicine Kidney-network, this network is needed to control the heat of the Heart.

The basics of TC Medicine about the Water-element: One Resource, One Output and two Resistances, with Harmonic, Collapse or Exaggerated Network.

Water – Kidney network

Resource: Metal – Lung network, quite good although it is under pressure from the Fire, but till 53 years old it is improving.
Output: Wood – Liver network, weak, Metal and Fire seasons are coming. Wood is burnt out by the surrounded Fire in his chart.
Resistance: Earth – Spleen network, Strong supported by Fire-elements
Resistance: Fire – Heart network: Strong supporting by the Day and Month. All of this Fire-Qi will shift and supporting the Earth-elements.

We could also see that the Water-elements during his life are improving. The other problem is that the Wood is weak. This Wood is needed for the Output of Water; the Water-elements will be trapped.

Until he reach 53 years old, his health will not be very serious, because there are Water and Metal elements in his 10 year Luck Pillar. These elements will help him to cool down his heat of Fire. The serious problems will increase after 53 years old. The Fire-season had been reached, support the overwhelm Earth-elements in his chart. There will be no single drop Water in his chart; it will be disastrous for his Kidney. If there will be a Kidney-failure, his Heart and other organs network will be suffered too. Fire will attack and destroys first the Skin and Lung both are Metal-elements. Earth-elements will block the very thin blood vessels in the eyes as we could see from the father with his cataract illness.

I skip this time for decoding of son 2 (11 April 1971), because his chart is a bit tricky due to 5 elements chart and only half-combinations. It is not easy to find the source of the problem. With this information I think son 2 is much better off than his two brothers and his father.
